Malpelo, has become a pretty big tourist attraction for divers from around the world who visit this site frequently and almost continuously for the high biodiversity found in the underwater world of this island.


Requirements for divers


Minimum age: 18 years of age.
It requires a qualified instructor or Divermaster for every 8 divers.
Pito "Dive Alert."
Rescue buoy or "salami".
Diving Suit, wetsuit is recommended at least 3 mm
Dive computers.
Each diver must have a certificate of advanced diver with a minimum of 20 dives recorded in logs.
